He is highly skilled in his field of rehabilitation & recovery and places a great deal of focus on prehabilitation."

Simon Middleton - Leeds Carnegie Coach

Well, hopefully that fantastic quote has grabbed your attention! The great thing was Andy didn't have to pay him to say it as well!

So, I bet you are thinking "What makes Andy different from all those other sports physiotherapists out there and why should I trust him with my injury and recovery?"

Very good questions and the answer is simply this,

Andy is down to earth, honest and realistic with his targets. His treatment is based on education, knowledge and more importantly - experience!

As you can tell from the above picture, Andy is Mr Sport! He has:

  • Played rugby professionally for Featherstone Rovers, Batley Bulldogs and Hunslet Hawks.

  • Taken part in lots of grueling runs for charity including cycling the National 3 peaks before finishing in London to complete the Virgin London Marathon in just over 4 hours.

  • He's rode a Rickshaw all the way to London to take 2 people around the London Marathon on foot.

  • Thames Path Challenge on 3 occasions (62 miles in 14 hrs and 34 mins.)

  • 100km Grand Union Canal run in 12.5 hours

  • London to Brighton 100km run in 15 hours

  • Race to the Stones 100km run in 15 hours

  • Keswick to Barrow 40 mile road race 3 times finishing twice in 6hr 44 mins

  • Bolton UK Ironman in under 13 hours

As well as these, he has also been chosen by World Extreme Enduro rider Graham Jarvis, the New Zealand University Rugby side during their 2013 World Cup campaign, Harrogate Town Football Club and World Champion Duathlete and World 70.3 Ironman James Gilfillin during his part in the 2011 British Record for a four man team in the Race Across America.

So as you can see, Andy knows his stuff, otherwise people in the business wouldn't trust him.

To add to this, he has also been a specialist Muscular Physiotherapist for the Ministry of Defence working with complex multiple injured battle casualties and rehabilitating our injured forces.
